Microsoft has been announced that the DVLUP Program, the Windows Phone application developer program that Nokia first launched in November 2012, and it is now available in over 192 countries, which mean by the its now accessible in everywhere of the world. The DVLUP program is basically a way for Windows Phone appliction creators to an engage with each others while also making softwares for the Microsoft's mobile OS. The program includes a kind of meta-game where developers can earn things like badges and prizes when they unlock achievements on the DVLUP site. There's also a leaderboard where those same developers can compare their badges, the number of points they have collected, and how many apps they have created for Windows Phone, along with apps made for Nokia X and Nokia Asha devices. The Xbox Music team made a big announcement today, releasing new APIs designed to let third-party developers build apps around Microsoft's music service. Microsoft previously piloted such a program back in December, but today's announcement opens it for the rest of the world without needing to apply. The announcement post gives even more details of the new API, including complete information on how to implement many new features. Developers have full access to Xbox Music's 38 million track catalog available in 23 countries. Furthermore, there is an affiliate program whereby developers can earn a 5 percent share on purchases and a massive 10 percent on all music pass payments for the lifetime of the subscription.
